National Functional Medicine Certification Company: SEO, PPC & Social Ads Case Study
A newly launched functional medicine certification platform needed to ramp digital marketing fast. Over a 2-month engagement, we layered SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads to grow monthly organic traffic from ~70 visitors to over 1,500 - a 2,000%+ lift - while driving qualified subscription sales.

The Challenge

Our Approach
We decided to run with SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads. SEO to set up a strong foundation for their new website. Google Ads and Meta Ads to create brand exposure and drive immediate traffic to the site while we built the SEO up.
- SEO Foundation: Built a strong organic foundation for their newly launched website to compound results over time.
- Google Ads: Drove immediate, high-intent traffic from people actively searching for functional medicine certifications.
- Meta Ads: Created brand exposure and awareness across audiences passionate about health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine.
- Integrated Funnel: Coordinated paid and organic channels so every touchpoint reinforced the brand while SEO ramped up.
Results
They only ran with us for 2 months – January 2026 to March 2026 – but the movement was significant. Organic traffic grew from around 70 visitors per month to over 1,500. Meta Ads and Google Ads drove visitors to the site and helped them sell more subscriptions. Even with a short engagement window, we increased their traffic by over 2,000%.

Takeaway
When a business is brand-new and time is short, integrating SEO with paid media can compress what’s normally a multi-quarter ramp-up into weeks. By stacking organic foundation work with high-intent search ads and audience-driven social ads, we delivered 20x traffic growth and meaningful subscription sales in just two months.
What’s Next?
We paused the campaigns so the client could focus internal attention on a separate company. They have been very appreciative of having us step in as their marketing manager – providing the direction on what would and wouldn’t work for them. We’re keeping an eye on the campaign and ready to step back in when they’re ready.
