Lafayette Cosmetic Dental Practice: SEO, PPC, Social Ads, Web Development Case Study
Discover how multi-channel PPC, Meta, and SEO drove 588 new-patient conversions and restored organic search reach after a major dental rebrand.
Project Overview
Led by an experienced clinical team, this boutique cosmetic and family dental practice in Lafayette, Louisiana, specializes in high-end, anxiety-free dentistry. Known for its spa-like environment, complete with fresh-baked bread and dedicated sedation protocols, the practice offers general preventive care alongside advanced cosmetic procedures including porcelain veneers, Invisalign, teeth whitening, full-mouth restorations, and emergency dental care. A repeat "Best of Acadiana" award winner with strong patient reviews, the practice underwent a comprehensive rebranding in April 2026, transitioning from its legacy brand to a new identity and migrating digital assets to a new domain. To rebuild search rankings post-migration, optimize multi-channel advertising, and establish closed-loop patient attribution, the practice partnered with our agency.
The Challenge
Following their April 2026 rebrand and domain migration, the practice faced twin operational hurdles that threatened new-patient acquisition:
- Domain Migration Ranking Reset: Moving from their legacy web address to a new domain caused a temporary reset of their organic search visibility, requiring a swift technical SEO rebuild to reclaim local map packs and organic rankings.
- Missing Lead Attribution & Closed-Loop Tracking: Despite strong inbound call and form volume, the practice lacked visibility into which marketing channels were generating actual booked appointments. Practice management software (Open Dental and Weave) was disconnected from digital channels, calls were untagged, and front-desk staff lacked mechanisms to record lead origins.

Our Approach
We deployed a comprehensive Local Search, Multi-Channel Paid Advertising, and Patient Attribution Infrastructure Strategy to drive immediate lead volume while rebuilding organic authority.
- Multi-Campaign Google Ads & Fraud Safeguards: We structured hyper-targeted Search campaigns segmented by intent and location (Cosmetic, Opelousas Cosmetic, General Care, and Emergency). We integrated Performance Max and AI Max campaign layers to expand search reach, implemented ClickShield software to prevent invalid clicks, and applied negative keyword lists to exclude low-value queries.
- Multi-Funnel Meta Advertising Engine: We launched a three-pronged Meta campaign architecture across Lafayette and Opelousas, incorporating low-cost cosmetic lead-generation forms, new-patient offer campaigns, and brand-awareness creatives showcasing the new practice identity.
- Technical SEO Rebuild & Content Strategy: To recover organic search authority post-domain migration, we executed a technical SEO program focused on local schema implementation, high-authority backlink building, and recurring local content creation targeting Lafayette and Opelousas search terms.
- Closed-Loop Analytics & Call Attribution: We consolidated all inbound telephone tracking into CallRail website pools, added hidden source fields to web forms, and deployed Zapier lead-delivery pipelines. We initiated back-end integration scoping with Open Dental and Weave to map ad channels directly to booked patient records.
- Unified Website Build: We initiated the development of a custom, conversion-focused WordPress site aligned with the updated brand identity to streamline user experience across paid and organic touchpoints.
Results
From January through July 2026, the integrated marketing program generated massive regional reach, dramatically reduced lead acquisition costs, and successfully rebuilt organic search authority.
- 588 Verified New-Patient Conversions: Across Google, Meta, and Google Maps, campaigns generated over 440,000 impressions, driving 8,172 website visits and 588 tracked new-patient lead conversions.
- 500 First-Time Inbound Phone Leads: CallRail captured 657 total phone inquiries during the window, with 500 confirmed as first-time callers. Website forms added 103 submissions, with 88 marked as new patients.
- Plunging Google Ads Conversion Costs: Monthly Google Ads conversions grew from 31 in August 2025 to 372 in July 2026, while average cost-per-conversion dropped from about $28. Overall Google Ads spend produced 404 conversions at a 4.48% CTR.
- High-Efficiency Meta Lead Generation: Meta ad campaigns produced about 80 direct lead-form submissions in a single 30-day window at about $16 each.
- Rapid Organic Domain Recovery: Built from near-zero post-migration, the new domain scaled to 165 ranking keywords, about 2,100 monthly organic visits, 294 referring domains, and over 20,600 backlinks by mid-August 2026.

Takeaway
A domain migration or rebrand does not have to result in long-term revenue loss. By pairing hyper-targeted paid search and Meta campaigns to maintain immediate lead volume with an aggressive technical SEO recovery strategy, healthcare practices can navigate domain transitions smoothly, slash patient acquisition costs, and build a measurable, closed-loop marketing engine.
What’s Next?
We are finalizing the practice’s new custom WordPress site and completing backend data integrations between CallRail, web forms, Open Dental, and Weave to provide complete lead-to-booked-patient attribution. Concurrently, we are refreshing Meta creative assets against the updated brand guidelines, refining negative keyword lists across PPC accounts, and publishing monthly local content to accelerate organic domain authority across the Lafayette metro area.
